How perception, AI and strategic partnerships are accelerating the next generation of robotics

08 December 2026
10:00am ET | 3:00pm London | 4:00pm CET
Duration: 50 Minutes

Advances in AI, autonomy and software are making robots increasingly practical across warehouses, factories, commercial facilities and other dynamic environments. But as robotic systems become more capable, the performance of the physical platform and the perception systems supporting it are becoming critical to successful deployment.

This Manufacturing Today webinar will explore how robotics OEMs can integrate new sensing technologies into reliable, production-ready perception platforms. Experts from across the robotics ecosystem will examine the engineering and production challenges associated with multi-sensor integration, sensor fusion, optical alignment and calibration, and the design of perception architectures that can scale beyond the prototype stage.

The discussion will also consider how component technology providers, robotics OEMs and engineering and manufacturing partners can work together more effectively. By combining specialist technology development with hardware design, embedded systems, calibration, test development, assembly and scalable manufacturing, strategic partnerships can help address integration challenges earlier and create a clearer path from innovation to commercial production.

Register to find out more about:

  • How advances in perception and AI are changing the requirements for next-generation robotic systems
  • The engineering and production challenges involved in multi-sensor integration and sensor fusion
  • Why optical alignment, calibration and perception architecture are critical to reliable robotic performance
  • How robotics OEMs can concentrate on autonomy, navigation and other differentiating technologies while working with specialist partners
  • Where engineering and manufacturing partners can help bridge the gap between component innovation and complete robotic systems
  • How strategic partnerships can accelerate development and create a more effective route from concept to scalable production
